Edward K. Blodnick and Thomas R. Fazio Announce Formation Of Professional Corporation

June 15, 2010

Edward K. Blodnick and Thomas R. Fazio are proud to announce the formation of Blodnick, Fazio & Associates, P.C. This professional corporation has been formed by the combination of law firms owned by Mr. Blodnick and Mr. Fazio.

Located in Garden City, Blodnick, Fazio & Associates, P.C. is a boutique law firm specializing in healthcare-related issues; corporate formations; complex commercial litigation; real estate law; arbitration and mediation; matrimonial law; employment law; municipal and school law; and construction law. Its attorneys are admitted to practice in the Courts of New York, New Jersey and Florida, including the Eastern and Southern District Courts of New York; New Jersey federal courts; the Federal Court of Claims; the First, Second, Fourth and Federal Circuit Courts; and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mr. Blodnick specializes in corporate litigation, healthcare-related issues and construction. His areas of expertise include business and corporate law, dissolutions and no-fault litigation. Mr. Blodnick is also extremely knowledgeable in employment discrimination cases and municipal and school law. After graduating from Harvard University, he attended and received his law degree from Columbia Law School.

Mr. Fazio has been practicing law since 1986. He spent the last nine years as in-house counsel and vice president to a variety of secured commercial lenders with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion. He spent six of the nine years serving as in-house counsel for companies that financed the healthcare industry. Among the transactions he worked on was the financing of the acquisition of a small chain of hospitals in California. He graduated from Syracuse University and received his law degree from City University of New York.

Since its formation, the firm has enjoyed legal victories, including a recent case wherein it obtained a preliminary injunction to block the eviction of its client, S.J.K.K. Tennis, from the Bethpage State Park tennis facility at the hands of Confer Bethpage, LLC. The firm successfully proved that Confer Bethpage willfully violated the contract and did not have the rights to the tennis facility.

“I am very pleased to form this new professional corporation by combining our two firms together,” Mr. Blodnick said. “Under this new formation, our firm will continue to provide the highest level of service our clients have come to expect from us. We have a fantastic staff of attorneys with more than 90 years of combined experience amongst them.”

“This formation is a great fit for the both of us,” Mr. Fazio said. “We both like to set up game plans for complex litigation matters, consisting of a strategy and a goal to winning the verdict on behalf of our clients. That is what has made us very successful in the past and will continue to do so in the future.”

The office is located at 1325 Franklin Avenue, Suite 375 in Garden City. For more information, call (516) 280-7105 or visit www.BFandApc.com.
